Acupressure Self-Care

For anyone unable to come in for acupuncture treatments but would like to continue staying proactive in taking care of their health during these challenging times, here are some basic acupressure points that you can massage on a daily basis at home! Massage each point bilaterally for about 30 seconds to a minute, two times per day, in a circular motion using a comfortable, firm pressure with your thumbs. Breathe slowly and deeply 3 to 4 times with each point - as if you were smelling a beautiful, fragrant rose - while you perform this daily self-massage. (caution on points SP6 and LI4: contraindicated in pregnancy)
